Security Operations Engineer

Collectors is seeking a Security Operations Engineer to join our Cybersecurity team. You will be instrumental in building and managing high-confidence security detections, leading incident response efforts, and proactively hunting for threats across our cloud and enterprise environments. This role involves automating security processes, ensuring the integrity of our security data pipeline, and partnering with engineering teams to embed security into our architecture.

• Build, tune, and manage security detections across cloud platforms and enterprise tooling
• Serve as a senior responder for security incidents, driving triage, containment, and remediation
• Conduct proactive threat hunts across cloud, SaaS, and on-prem infrastructure
• Design and build automation and SOAR playbooks to accelerate response times
• Own and improve the health of the security data pipeline and log source onboarding
• Partner cross-functionally to embed security operations requirements into new services and cloud architecture
