Staff Software Engineer, Security

Harvey is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Security Engineering team. You will build and operate foundational security services, including identity and access management, secrets management, and tooling to ensure secure development practices. This role involves designing, coding, and maintaining these critical systems in production, with a focus on enabling other engineers to build securely.

• Design, build, and operate core security services (authentication, authorization, access governance, secrets management)
• Own identity infrastructure end-to-end, including SSO and SCIM
• Build secure-by-default libraries and self-service tooling for engineering teams
• Take systems from greenfield to production-grade, owning reliability
• Contribute to incident response and drive technical mitigations
• Raise security bar through design reviews, code reviews, and mentorship
