Staff Infrastructure Security Engineer (EMEA/APJ)

GitLab is seeking a Staff Infrastructure Security Engineer to lead initiatives in securing their public cloud infrastructure and SaaS platforms. This role involves defining technical direction, setting architectural patterns, and driving security automation. You will collaborate with engineering teams to implement security capabilities and mentor other engineers.

• Lead infrastructure security initiatives from problem framing through delivery
• Set architectural patterns and foundational security automation
• Conduct and lead comprehensive security reviews and threat modeling
• Partner on technical planning, prioritization, and roadmap development
• Mentor and develop engineers
• Expert knowledge of security for cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) and Kubernetes
