Staff Infrastructure Security Engineer (APAC, EMEA, or US)

GitLab is seeking a Staff Infrastructure Security Engineer to lead technical direction for infrastructure security, focusing on SaaS platforms and self-managed offerings. This role involves defining architectural patterns, driving security initiatives from conception to delivery, and conducting threat modeling. The engineer will also mentor team members and leverage AI in security workflows.

• Set architectural patterns and foundational security automation for infrastructure security
• Lead infrastructure security initiatives from problem framing through delivery
• Conduct and lead comprehensive security reviews and threat modeling
• Set the team's approach to AI-assisted security engineering
• Serve as an authoritative technical voice for Infrastructure Security
• Partner on technical planning, prioritization, and roadmap development
