Security Platform Engineer (SIEM)

Sun Life is seeking a Security Platform Engineer to support the Security Visibility team in implementing and monitoring security technologies. This role involves managing SIEM tools, analyzing security risks, developing security solutions, and responding to incidents. You will collaborate with various IT teams to enhance the company's security posture and protect sensitive data.

• Support and manage SIEM (Splunk Enterprise Security)
• Analyze information systems and lead security initiatives
• Implement risk-driven security controls and provide SME during audits
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, participating in on-call support
• Collaborate with security peers, vendors, and internal teams
• Experience with SIEM (QRadar or Splunk ES), IDS/NDR, or threat simulation tools
