Senior Cyber Security Engineer

Bread Financial is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement, and operate security capabilities across cyber engineering, IAM, and cyber defense. This role involves leading complex operational work, mentoring junior engineers, and driving security initiatives with minimal oversight.

• Design, implement, and operate security engineering solutions
• Lead analysis and response for complex security events and incidents
• Implement and evolve secure architecture patterns across cloud, identity, and cyber defense
• Partner with Product and Technology teams to assess and mitigate security risks
• Provide security input into product features and release readiness
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
