Cloud Security Engineer

Apex Technology Inc is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure cloud environments for U.S. government and intelligence community missions. This role is critical for protecting classified data in AWS, Azure, and hybrid clouds while ensuring compliance with federal standards. The engineer will work with DevSecOps and infrastructure teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and automate controls.

• Design and implement secure cloud architectures in AWS GovCloud, Azure, and/or Google Cloud
• Ensure compliance with NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, DoD IL-2/4/5, and RMF
• Configure and manage IAM, RBAC, and Zero Trust Architecture principles
• Engineer, deploy, and optimize cloud-native security tools and SIEM platforms
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing simulations
• Develop and maintain System Security Plans and compliance reporting
