About this role

Join Bitpanda as a Cyber Security Engineer to protect our platform by detecting threats, responding to incidents, and enhancing our cloud-native security. You will build and improve detection rules, investigate security events, automate security operations, and contribute to securing our AWS cloud environment.

What we are looking for

Build and improve detection rules in Elastic Security (ES|QL/KQL)
Investigate security events and hunt for threats across AWS, Elastic, and Datadog
Automate security operations using scripts, APIs, and SOAR workflows
Monitor AWS security events and contribute to system hardening
Support compliance activities including ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and DORA
Participate in a weekly rotating on-call schedule
