Application Security Engineer

GDIT is seeking an Application Security Engineer to support critical FAA programs. You will be responsible for ensuring the security of information systems, conducting risk assessments, and maintaining documentation for modernization and life cycle support projects. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders and contributing to the enhancement of data infrastructure.

• Perform security risk assessments and ensure adherence to processes
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and reports
• Protect information system assets from unauthorized access or destruction
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendor resources for remediation
• Experience with cloud security and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficient in government contracting and engineering standards

• Requires a Public Trust security clearance.
