Senior Information System Security Engineer

Leidos is seeking a Senior Information System Security Engineer to support cybersecurity authorization efforts for the Navy's largest IT services program. You will act as a main point of contact for cybersecurity authorization, ensuring systems comply with security policies and procedures, and maintaining ongoing reporting to management.

• Perform cybersecurity authorization services for Authorization to Operate (ATO) packages under the Navy Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Evaluate software and hardware for minimum security requirements based on NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5
• Author, review, and submit cybersecurity authorization artifacts to eMASS
• Monitor system resources through automated scanning and implement automated reporting
• Verify patch compliance using ACAS, IAVA dashboards, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoints
• Develop and maintain system security documentation, including SOPs, TTPs, POA&Ms, and FISMA Score Cards
