About this role

Join Centene's Defense Automation & Transformation team as a Senior Applications Security Engineer. You will build, secure, and support automation, AI, and development capabilities, focusing on expanding our automation capacity and designing AI-enabled solutions for our AI Ops initiative. This role involves operating and maturing our Kubernetes environment and applying secure development practices throughout the lifecycle.

What we are looking for 6

Design, develop, and maintain automation and self-service tools for security teams
Build AI-enabled capabilities for AI Ops, including monitoring and anomaly detection
Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot containerized workloads in Kubernetes
Apply secure development practices (SSDLC) and promote CI/CD standards
Hands-on Python development and experience with AI/ML or LLM solutions
Experience with Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code
