About this role

Join Airbus Protect in Newport as a Cyber Defence Engineer, supporting SOC operations, system maintenance, and security log monitoring. This onsite role requires strong networking and cybersecurity skills, with experience in MoD contracts and SIEM tools being advantageous.

What we are looking for

Support SOC Engineers & Analyst activity
Ensure scheduled maintenance and patching is approved & delivered within KPI/SLA’s
Monitoring of audit and security logs for breaches and malware
Experience with multiple SOC tooling including IDPS/Firewalls/SIEM/Splunk
Strong networking background and experience with Firewall technologies
Role requires sole British Citizens and security clearance vetting
