Product Security Engineer

Smith+Nephew is seeking a Product Security Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will focus on product security tooling, providing hands-on engineering to ensure the security and resilience of medical products and their data against cyber threats. You will collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement security tools throughout the product lifecycle, conduct security scans, and support the development of secure software.

• Design, engineer, and implement security tools for the product lifecycle
• Run security scans (SAST, DAST, SCA) and support SBOM creation
• Lead cybersecurity tool strategy and maintenance for various technologies
• Integrate cybersecurity testing and assessment activities
• Provide technical expertise for vulnerability response
• Develop and mature the Secure-Software Development Life Cycle (S-SDLC)
