About this role

Cloudera is seeking a Senior Security Response Engineer to join our Incident Response team. You will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity threats in real-time, requiring a 24/7 operational capability with shift work. This role involves proactive threat detection, in-depth incident analysis, and developing robust response strategies to protect our organization.

What we are looking for

Monitor and respond to security alerts from SIEM, Cloud Security Platforms, and EDR
Develop new, high-fidelity alerts based on threat intelligence and past investigations
Conduct in-depth analysis of security incidents and recommend mitigation strategies
Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and SOAR workflows
Experience with incident response in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience securing and responding to incidents within Kubernetes environments
