Information Security Engineer

VIAVI is seeking an Information Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage security architectures for network and computer systems. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies, performing security assessments, responding to incidents, and managing the full Risk Management Framework lifecycle for accredited systems. This role requires a strong understanding of government security regulations and the ability to architect solutions compliant with NISPOM, DISA STIGs, and NIST standards.

• Design and build security architectures for network and computer systems
• Oversee implementation of security measures and ensure policy compliance
• Perform security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability analysis
• Respond to cybersecurity incidents and conduct forensic investigations
• Manage the Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle and ATO process
• Architect solutions compliant with NISPOM, DISA STIGs, and NIST standards

• Requires a Secret security clearance.
