Application Security Engineer

Purpose Brands is seeking an Application Security Engineer to embed security controls and automation into the software development lifecycle for cloud-based applications. You will partner with engineering teams to mature security processes, improve vulnerability management, and reduce risk without slowing delivery. This role emphasizes hands-on security engineering, tooling integration, and developer enablement across AWS and Azure.

• Embed application security practices into the SDLC
• Perform application security assessments (SAST, DAST, SCA)
• Integrate security tooling into CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze and manage vulnerability findings
• Support applications in AWS and Azure cloud environments
• Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams
