Principal OT Cybersecurity Infrastructure Engineer

Hitachi Rail is seeking a Principal OT Cybersecurity Infrastructure Engineer in Sydney to design, implement, and validate OT cybersecurity infrastructure for critical infrastructure projects. This role requires technical authority for security platforms, hands-on engineering, and ensuring compliance with international standards and Australian regulations.

• Define end-to-end OT cybersecurity architectures using zones and conduits, defence in depth, and resilient design principles
• Lead the design, configuration, and integration of network security, IAM, threat detection, and secure IT/OT infrastructure
• Translate IEC 62443, NIST, and ISO requirements into practical controls and maintain traceability
• Define and execute security testing, commissioning, hardening, and vulnerability reviews
• Adapt designs to Australian critical-infrastructure and data-protection obligations
• Minimum five years of experience in IT/OT cybersecurity infrastructure architecture and deployment within critical infrastructure environments
