IT Security Engineer

Hitachi Digital is seeking a Security Engineer to join their Global SOC team in New Delhi. You will be responsible for monitoring, investigating, and responding to security alerts and incidents, performing threat hunting, and analyzing security data to protect company and customer information systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to the continuous improvement of cybersecurity operations.

• Monitor and triage security alerts from SIEM, EDR, DLP, Email Security, and Proxy solutions
• Investigate, respond to, and report security incidents
• Perform threat hunting activities across enterprise environments
• Analyze security logs, events, and telemetry data
• Support incident containment, remediation, and post-incident analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve detection and response capabilities
