Sr. Manager, Security Engineer

Capital One is seeking a passionate Security Leader to drive technical strategy and build automated controls, cloud security architecture, and DevSecOps solutions. You will architect scalable data protection solutions, define security reference architectures, and embed security by design into enterprise platforms. This role offers the opportunity to influence engineering standards and mentor senior engineers while tackling complex security challenges.

• Drive technical strategy for encryption, data protection, and cryptographic policy engineering
• Architect scalable data protection solutions and key management platforms
• Define and lead implementation of security reference architectures
• Design advanced automation frameworks for continuous detection and remediation
• Partner with engineering teams to embed security by design
• Mentor senior engineers and elevate technical excellence
