Sr. Application Security Engineer

As a Sr. Application Security Engineer at Extra Space Storage, you will be a key security partner embedded within our engineering teams, helping them design, build, and ship secure software. You will conduct security reviews, perform threat modeling, and mature our secure development lifecycle, working with modern technologies like AWS, .NET, and TypeScript. This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to influence security practices across the organization and mentor engineers on secure development.

• Conduct security architecture and design reviews
• Perform threat modeling and code reviews
• Mature the Secure SDLC and integrate security tooling
• Build and maintain security automation
• Lead the security champions program
