Sr Systems Security Engineer

Lead the design and implementation of security infrastructure for a defense program. This role involves hands-on technical execution of cybersecurity tasks, including vulnerability scanning and SIEM operations, as well as program security leadership, compliance governance, and system accreditation. You will also mentor junior engineers and represent the program's security posture to government stakeholders.

• Lead design and implementation of security infrastructure
• Manage complex security projects and provide strategic direction
• Mentor junior engineers
• Responsible for cybersecurity posture, compliance governance, and system accreditation
• Hands-on technical security execution (vulnerability scanning, SIEM, STIG hardening)
• Program security leadership and ATO lifecycle management

• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

• Requires a Top Secret security clearance.
