Senior Cyber Security Engineer (Job 1384)

DLH is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead security efforts for the National Institute on Aging. You will design, implement, and maintain security controls to protect information systems and data, ensuring compliance with federal standards and mitigating risks. This role is crucial for safeguarding sensitive research data and requires strong technical expertise and collaboration skills.

• Advise on Zero Trust Architecture roadmap
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk analyses
• Implement and manage security tools (SIEM, endpoint protection)
• Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST SP 800-53, and NIH/HHS policies
• Design and implement cybersecurity controls aligned with NIST RMF
• Support system Authorization to Operate (ATO) processes
