2027 Hardware Security Engineering Grad Intern

As a Hardware Security Engineering Intern, you will contribute to critical research and development efforts to secure national security space systems. You will define threat paths, develop mitigation guidance for hardware vulnerabilities, and assist in improving microelectronics assurance policies. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in hardware security within a federally funded research and development center.

• Contribute to hardware security research and development for national security space systems
• Define threat paths and develop mitigation guidance for FPGA/ASIC/embedded systems
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and debug hardware and firmware issues
• Assist in developing microelectronics assurance policy and documentation
• Collaborate with internal and external organizations on technical capabilities
• Experience with FPGA design, HDLs, and embedded systems

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
