About this role

Join Zalando's new Bucharest site as a Cybersecurity Engineer on the Security Operations Center (SOC) team. You will be the first line of defense, monitoring, investigating, and responding to cyber threats to protect our digital assets. This role involves supporting incident response, managing stakeholder communications, documenting investigations, and driving security optimizations.

What we are looking for

Monitor, investigate, and respond to security threats and system anomalies
Support incident response operations and collaborate with CSIRT
Manage stakeholder communications and provide clear updates
Document security cases and author forensic investigation reports
Improve monitoring, hunt for threats, and curate playbooks
Experience with SIEM, EDR, AWS, Kubernetes, and scripting (Python)
