Cybersecurity Engineer Principal

This is an unpaid fellowship for transitioning service members to gain hands-on cybersecurity experience supporting critical Defense systems. Fellows will train alongside senior engineers, learning risk management, compliance, and cloud security enhancements within the Defense Threat Reduction Agency.

• Assist in coordinating cybersecurity inspections, assessments, and compliance activities
• Support development and maintenance of cybersecurity documentation
• Observe Risk Management Framework (RMF) workflows and eMASS processes
• Learn to collect and summarize cybersecurity metrics for stakeholder reporting
• Gain exposure to modern cybersecurity platforms like AWS and Azure
• Provide administrative, analytical, and coordination support to cybersecurity teams

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Requires a Ts Sci security clearance.
