Associate Cybersecurity Systems Engineering Analyst - Data Protection

Duke Energy is seeking an Associate Cybersecurity Systems Engineer Analyst to support and maintain tools for detecting cyber security events and incidents. This role involves working in a 24x7 Cybersecurity Operations Center, generating and testing SIEM content, and researching cyber threats. The position requires a focus on data protection and system administration within a cybersecurity context.

• Support and maintain cybersecurity tools for event and incident generation
• Generate and test SIEM content, including dashboards, rules, and reports
• Research and track cyber threats, exploits, and threat actors
• Assist in maintenance, configuration, and operation of cybersecurity tools
• Enhance and tune product events to reduce false positives
• Provide 24x7 systems engineering support on a rotating shift basis
