Cleared Hybrid Information System Security Officer (5420)

SMX is looking for an experienced Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support a federal program in Hanover, MD. This hybrid role involves ensuring the security and compliance of enterprise information systems, supporting Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, and leading Authorization to Operate (ATO) efforts. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity and an active Secret clearance.

• Provide security advisory support to System Owners and leadership
• Support implementation and maintenance of security controls
• Coordinate and execute RMF activities
• Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs) and related documentation
• Assess system security posture and recommend corrective actions
• Support Authorization to Operate (ATO) activities
