Staff Security Engineer, Enterprise Security Operations

Aurora is seeking a Staff Security Engineer to join their Enterprise Security Operations team. This role focuses on the operational health and continuous improvement of security platforms like EDR, SIEM, and IAM, rather than traditional software engineering. You will be responsible for tuning security tools, developing detection rules, conducting threat hunting, and serving as an expert escalation point for complex security issues.

• Own operational health and continuous improvement of enterprise security platforms
• Develop and refine detection rules and alert policies
• Conduct proactive threat hunting across security telemetry
• Serve as the deepest internal expert on enterprise security tooling
• Participate in on-call rotation for security alerts and incidents
• Audit and validate security control effectiveness
