Cybersecurity Systems Engineer

Penn State's IT Information Security team seeks a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security infrastructure across networks, endpoints, servers, and cloud environments. This role involves collaborating with various IT teams to enhance security posture, respond to threats, and ensure data confidentiality and system integrity.

• Design, implement, and maintain security infrastructure
• Respond to complex security alerts and threat activity
• Correlate data across endpoints, networks, and logs
• Develop SIEM content, dashboards, and saved searches
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and cloud teams
• Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical systems
