Network Security Tools Engineer

Leidos is seeking an experienced Network Security Tools Engineer to administer, engineer, and optimize enterprise security technologies. You will ensure the availability and effectiveness of critical security tools, supporting threat detection and incident response in a mission-critical environment. This role requires a strong blend of networking and cybersecurity expertise, with hands-on experience in SIEM, firewalls, and other security platforms.

• Administer, engineer, and optimize enterprise network security tools (SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.)
• Monitor tool health, performance, and data ingestion for continuous visibility
• Troubleshoot and resolve security tool issues, including performance and integration problems
• Collaborate with SOC and engineering teams to tune detection capabilities and reduce false positives
• Support integration and automation of cybersecurity tools
• Maintain technical documentation for security infrastructure

• Requires a Ts Sci security clearance.
