About this role

VulnCheck is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to embed security practices directly into our engineering workflows. You will partner with engineers on design reviews, harden our platform, and build scalable tooling and automation. This is a hands-on builder role where you will have autonomy to identify and solve security challenges.

What we are looking for

Partner with engineering on platform security, threat modeling, and secure design patterns
Harden IaC across AWS environments (EKS, Aurora, OpenSearch, S3, IAM)
Design and build automation for detection, response, and compliance
5+ years in security engineering with deep AWS and IaC experience
Proficiency in Kubernetes/EKS security and building scalable security tools
Experience with Golang and comfortable collaborating with software engineers
