Senior Security Engineer (Detection Engineer)

Join REA as a Senior Security Engineer (Detection Engineer) and play a key role in modernizing our detection capabilities. You will leverage AI-assisted tooling and detection-as-code practices to build, validate, and improve high-fidelity detections and response automations. This individual contributor role involves driving workstreams from problem definition to delivery, focusing on enhancing our ability to identify and respond to cyber threats across our environment.

• Operate and improve data flows, telemetry integrations, and detection workflows
• Develop, review, and validate high-fidelity detections and response automations
• Assess threat intelligence to focus detection coverage on relevant adversaries
• Investigate suspicious activity and coordinate technical containment and response
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure adequate logging and detection coverage
• Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and security observability tooling
