About this role
As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer at Octus, you will be responsible for the security technology that protects our employees, endpoints, and enterprise systems. This broad, hands-on role involves managing our security stack, hardening enterprise systems, and securing our use of AI tools. You will gain exposure across the entire security program, working on IT, cloud, application security, incident response, and more.
What we are looking for 6
- Own and tune security technology including EDR, MDM, SSE, and email security
- Harden identity platforms (Okta, Entra ID) and SaaS applications (Google Workspace, Slack)
- Secure enterprise AI tools like Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT
- Respond to security incidents and support audits (SOC 2)
- Automate security tasks using Python and APIs
- 6+ years of cybersecurity experience with strong scripting skills
