System Security Engineer, AVP

State Street is seeking a System Security Engineer to join their Cyber Architecture & Engineering team. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting secure configurations and hardening standards across diverse IT environments. You will leverage automation, scripting, and compliance-as-code tools to embed security into operational processes and strengthen the organization's security posture.

• Implement and adhere to security configuration best practices
• Establish secure baseline configurations for IT assets
• Develop custom hardening and monitoring solutions using Chef Inspec and scripting
• Conduct risk assessments based on NIST framework
• Develop security guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Promote software and platform configuration best practices
