About this role

SUSE is seeking a Security Certification Engineer to drive end-to-end security certification projects for their enterprise open source software. You will leverage expertise in Linux, KVM, and containerization to build certified configurations, develop AI-enabled automation tools, and ensure compliance with strict certification requirements.

What we are looking for

Build and test certified product configurations, focusing on KVM virtualization
Develop AI-assisted automation tools for continuous security certifications
Translate technical requirements from certification bodies into engineering parameters
Integrate certification testing into automated environments and CI/CD pipelines
Coordinate with production engineering teams on architectural recommendations and security findings
Proficiency in Python, Kubernetes, Linux, CI/CD, and Ansible
