Senior Network Security Engineer

Wintrust is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to automate manual network security configurations and ensure control effectiveness. This role focuses on engineering secure and repeatable automation capabilities across enterprise network and security platforms, reducing configuration drift and enhancing security.

• Engineer secure and repeatable automation for firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers, VPNs, and cloud networking
• Automate network security controls including firewall policy deployment and access rule analysis
• Integrate network automation into CI/CD pipelines with code reviews and automated testing
• Develop automated compliance and configuration-drift monitoring
• Design and develop network automation solutions using Python, PowerShell, APIs, and IaC
• 7+ years of experience in network engineering, security, or automation
