Staff Product Security Engineer

Abbott is seeking a Staff Product Security Engineer to ensure the security of connected medical devices throughout their lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security by design, conduct threat modeling, and manage vulnerabilities for next-generation healthcare technologies.

• Lead cybersecurity architecture reviews and security-by-design initiatives
• Implement secure design practices across software, firmware, and hardware
• Develop and review security controls in C/C++, Python, and Linux
• Conduct threat modeling and cybersecurity risk assessments
• Develop and execute cybersecurity assessment plans and security test strategies
• Partner with regulatory and quality teams for compliance activities
