Cyber Security Analyst

Leidos is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join their Security Operations Center (SOC) in Adelphi, MD. You will be responsible for 24x7 defensive cyber operations, including threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management across on-premises and cloud environments. This role requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and experience with SIEM and network analysis to protect critical Department of War networks.

• Lead incident response investigations from detection to remediation
• Correlate and analyze security events, alerts, and logs
• Acquire and analyze endpoint and network artifacts
• Identify attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
• Tune and maintain SIEM and IDS technologies
• Develop and maintain Incident Response processes and playbooks
