About this role
As a Senior Network Security Engineer, you will be the technical authority defining and advancing Altera's enterprise network security strategy and architecture across diverse environments. You will architect secure, resilient solutions using Zero Trust principles and lead technical efforts in areas like firewalls, ZTNA, SASE, and security automation. This role requires deep engineering expertise, strategic ownership, and cross-functional influence to improve security posture and mentor other engineers.

- Define and evolve enterprise network security strategy and architecture
- Architect secure, resilient network solutions using Zero Trust principles
- Lead technical efforts in firewalls, ZTNA, SASE, SD-WAN, NDR, and automation
- Provide senior technical expertise for complex security incidents and architecture decisions
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate security requirements into designs
- Establish engineering standards, reference architectures, and governance practices
