About this role
We are seeking a cleared Software Security Engineer with a strong software engineering background to perform hands-on source code reviews and application security assessments. You will translate government cybersecurity requirements into actionable guidance for developers, remediate vulnerabilities, and document evidence for security assessments. This role focuses on application security and code-level analysis.

- Perform manual security reviews of source code and application changes
- Assess application security against government requirements (NIST, DISA STIG)
- Translate security requirements into developer guidance and checklists
- Review authentication, authorization, data protection, and other security controls
- Execute and interpret SAST, DAST, SCA, and secrets scanning results
- Partner with developers to remediate vulnerabilities and verify fixes
