Platform Engineer, Security (Senior/Staff)

Pallet is seeking a founding Platform Engineer to build the security and platform foundations for their AI infrastructure in logistics. This hands-on role involves writing production code, designing secure and scalable systems, and establishing company-wide defaults. You will work on core platform services, implement security systems, and improve operational tooling.

• Build and maintain core platform services for AI systems
• Design and implement authentication, authorization, and secrets management
• Build reliable infrastructure across regions with isolation and disaster recovery
• Improve observability, monitoring, and operational tooling
• Develop internal platforms and abstractions for product engineers
• Identify and eliminate systemic risks in security and reliability
