Staff Security Engineer

Micron is seeking a Staff Security Engineer to join their IP Protection team. You will be responsible for building and operating data protection solutions to safeguard intellectual property throughout its lifecycle. This role involves partnering across business areas to reduce data exposure risks, improve data governance, and enable secure collaboration.

• Serve as the enterprise DLP authority, developing and managing data loss prevention policies
• Develop advanced detection capabilities for intellectual property using regex, fingerprints, and ML-based classifiers
• Continuously tune DLP policies to reduce false positives and negatives
• Monitor and protect against data ex-filtration across key egress channels
• Lead enterprise-wide data classification, sensitivity labeling, and rights management initiatives
• Drive large-scale information protection programs using auto-labeling and policy-based controls
