Cybersecurity Space Systems Engineer

Protect human space exploration missions by safeguarding spacecraft, communication links, and ground systems from cyber threats. You will design, build, and test resilient cybersecurity features, ensuring the safety and reliability of critical space operations. This role blends space systems engineering with cybersecurity expertise to address unique challenges in deep space exploration.

• Conduct threat modeling for spacecraft, communication links, and ground systems
• Design secure internal spacecraft communication and cryptographic key management
• Review software and code for flight systems
• Develop lightweight monitoring tools for unexpected behavior
• Build automated safety responses for in-space threat isolation
• Evaluate engineering designs for cyber-resiliency adherence

• Requires a Ts Sci security clearance.
