About this role

Leidos is seeking a Data Security Engineer to build and maintain cybersecurity data pipelines for defensive operations. You will manage high-volume security telemetry, optimize data performance, and automate workflows using Python and CI/CD tools. This hybrid role in Adelphi, MD requires U.S. Citizenship and a TS/SCI clearance.

What we are looking for

Design, maintain, and optimize cybersecurity data ingestion and normalization pipelines
Develop transformations and enrichments for security log and telemetry sources
Configure and optimize Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Fleet
Automate ingestion, transformation, and engineering workflows using Python, Bash, and CI/CD
Monitor pipeline and indexing performance, troubleshoot data-flow issues
Requires U.S. Citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance
