About this role
As a Cyber Engineer specializing in Endpoint Security, you will be the primary technical expert for Elastic Defend, ensuring the robust administration, sustainment, and modernization of endpoint security capabilities for critical Department of War networks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, manage policies, and develop essential documentation, directly contributing to national security.
What we are looking for 6
- Administer, configure, and sustain endpoint security tools, primarily Elastic Defend
- Manage Elastic Defend operations including policy, agent health, alerting, and troubleshooting
- Develop technical documentation, SOPs, and sustainment artifacts
- Support vulnerability and compliance initiatives
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, systems engineering, and mission stakeholders
- Provide backup support for enterprise Elastic engineering efforts
