Senior Hardware Security Engineer

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a Senior Hardware Security Engineer to provide expertise in security controls, microelectronic assessments, and threat path definition for national security space systems. This onsite role in El Segundo, CA involves hardware security research, development, and policy support, collaborating with government and contracted personnel.

• Provide hardware security support for security controls and microelectronic assessments
• Review security architecture of space mission ground systems
• Conduct hardware security research and development for national security space systems
• Define threat paths and develop guidance on FPGA/ASIC/embedded systems vulnerability mitigations
• Support microelectronics assurance policy, requirements, and documentation
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and debug hardware and firmware issues
