Security Operations Engineer

Capco is seeking a Security Operations Engineer in Poland to enhance their security program by onboarding critical applications into monitoring capabilities. You will focus on building and optimizing SIEM detection rules, supporting threat verification, and ensuring regulatory compliance with DORA. This role involves working with SIEM engineering, threat modeling, and security operations to improve detection accuracy and overall security posture.

• Design, build, and optimize SIEM detection rules, primarily with Microsoft Sentinel
• Develop and automate test cases for detection logic
• Support onboarding of critical applications into the security monitoring ecosystem
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define logging requirements and threat scenarios
• Produce technical documentation for detection logic and threat models
• Work with SOC, engineering, and red teams to enhance alert fidelity
