Senior Software Engineer II, Security

Tempus is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II, Security to lead the implementation of advanced security solutions for our precision medicine platform. You will enhance identity management, authorization, and observability systems, improve existing security microservices and tooling, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure robust security across our microservice architecture. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of healthcare technology security.

• Lead complex security engineering implementations for identity management, authorization, and observability
• Improve security microservices, custom frameworks, and tooling
• Collaborate cross-functionally to implement internal security standards
• Configure and manage technical services like Auth0, Okta, Chronicle, and Terraform
• Drive continuous improvements in engineering tooling, designs, and processes
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS) and identity management platforms
