Engineer II, Security Engineering

Circles is seeking a hands-on Security Engineer to enhance application, API, and cloud infrastructure security. This role involves secure architecture support, application security testing, penetration testing, and automation to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle, collaborating closely with Engineering and DevOps teams.

• Support threat modeling and security architecture reviews
• Execute Application Security program (SAST, DAST, SCA)
• Test REST and GraphQL APIs against OWASP API Security Top 10
• Perform internal penetration tests on web applications, APIs, and cloud infrastructure
• Build automation in Python for security tasks and reporting
• Evaluate and secure AI implementations
