About this role

As a Product Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be a hands-on technical contributor embedded within product engineering teams to ensure software and systems are built securely. You will develop tooling, patterns, and secure engineering capabilities that scale across GM's diverse product portfolio, influencing technical direction through expertise and collaboration.

What we are looking for

Hands-on technical contributor in secure software and systems engineering
Design, build, and mature secure engineering services and capabilities
Partner with product engineering teams for secure implementation
Implement SAST, DAST, fuzzing, and OS security hardening
Author technical guidance, reusable patterns, and guardrails
Perform secure code review and mentor engineers
