Lead Threat Detection & Threat Hunting Engineer

Lead the design and development of advanced threat detection capabilities to protect Thomson Reuters, its products, and customers. This hands-on technical role involves building scalable detection logic, operationalizing threat intelligence, and improving security monitoring and response across a diverse technology environment. You will leverage AI-enabled tools and collaborate with various security teams to reduce risk and shape the strategic direction of the Threat Detection program.

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable threat detection logic across SIEM, EDR, and cloud platforms
• Design and tune detection content based on emerging threats and adversary behaviors
• Map detections to the MITRE ATT&CK framework to identify and prioritize coverage gaps
• Operationalize threat intelligence into actionable detection and monitoring strategies
• Collaborate with Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, and Security Operations teams
• Utilize AI-enabled security tools to accelerate detection development and analysis
